To all that still trust and believe in the good work of Lisa,

 

I would too and I did.... She is such a good speaker and performer, has an intelligent mind and a big imagination to think of great projects, but to realize them.... that is a whole other business and that is a capacity she lacks. Because of that many good ideas just going to waist and she has lost the faith of many poor and rich locals, foreign volunteers, investors and friends. And “loosing faith” is an understatement, when you are not being paid for months when working for her (locals) or when you are not getting proper food/water/roof above your head although you have paid for this and you are doing voluntary work. Rather stop donating or helping as a volunteer to non-existing projects.

 

There are hundreds of stories of the projects she started that failed from the moment she arrived in Mozambique in 2004: from a pizza restaurant to a network of malaria/HIV clinics, from a college for tourism to a golf course, from closed down Sunset Boulevard to starting (pre-)schools, from starting a eco lodge in Mossuril to starting a eco-lodge in Milange.... and still the starting new projects hasn’t stopped. New projects are about to start and definitely all this money will to to waist as well. And the worst thing.... all the people she worked and will work with local or foreign sooner or later somehow get upset, angry or disappointed with her.

 

Millions of dollars have been invested, land and historic buildings have been bought, but with lack of capacity to get things done or going, all has been claimed back by the government. When land or buildings from the government are not being used, according to Mozambican law the Government has to right to take it back.... all money gone to waist.

 

With respect to all the people that believe(d) in her, she knows how to put up a show when investors or journalists come to visit. They are being treated well, local people being paid to tell a positive story about her and it is easy to show poverty in that area and to get people opening their harts and wallets.

 

Please any body considering to donate or volunteer in any of Lisa’s projects, be warned: she has a good story, but in reality...not much of it is true or will come true and it will end up in a disappointment for all of you.
